Marina Bay
In a tranquil location just north of the Rock is Marina Bay, built in 1979 and developed into a multi-service facility. It is operated by Marina Bay Complex Ltd, a private company established in 1984.
Shoreside developments include an impressive array of restaurants and bars overlooking the marina, a range of retail outlets including a supermarket, a medical clinic and various businesses located in Neptune House.
The marina itself contains 209 berths and can accommodate yachts up to 100 metres in length. Help and advice is always available from the pier office at the entrance to the marina.
Each berth is fitted with a total facility point including fresh water, power, telephone, fax, satellite TV and security connections. These points are connected to a computer in the main office so that berthing fees and extras can be prepared at a moment's notice, allowing yachts to get under way without delay.

Sheppard's Marina
Gibraltar's only yacht repair facility is provided by H. Sheppard & Co Ltd, which has its workshops at Coaling Island, near Queensway Quay, pending a move to a new location.
The new location will be in the basin formed by the north shore of the Airport runway and the south shore of La Linea breakwater.
Sheppard’s has retained its chandlery with a big range of items such as electrical equipment, inflatable dinghies, maintenance materials, paints and spare parts of all kinds. The chandlery, which includes a bonded store, is on the ground floor of Marina Court, immediately behind the Ocean Village site near Marina Bay.
The repairs department has electrical, metal- working, mechanical and wood-working shops as well as painting and welding facilities. Its experienced workforce can handle most types of work including engine rebuilds, GRP repairs, rigging, shipwright work and specialist welding.
Haul-outs are currently performed at the North Mole container berth, where Sheppard’s 40-tonne.

Queensway Quay
Queensway Quay Marina, formerly part of Taylor Woodrow's waterside development, became privately owned in 2001. It has an impressive backdrop of residential complexes and a choice of stylish restaurants and bars. The marina is just a short walk from shops in the town centre.
Queensway Quay was originally developed in 1994 as a marina with two Mediterranean-style residential complexes of 125 and 56 apartments.
With a minimum depth of 3.5 metres, the marina can accommodate yachts up to 80 metres in length. All berths have power, water and telephone connections. All pontoons are accessed through a security gate with pass numbers.
Shoreside services include fuel, a chandlery, a yacht agency, a marine electronics company, a sailing school, a laundrette and a travel agency.
