Marinas in Gibraltar

The three marinas in Gibraltar provide yachts with a wide choice of location and facilities. There are a total of 450 berths with depths to 4.5 metres capable of taking super yachts up to 100 metres in length.

Ocean Village and Marina Bay

At the “gateway to the Mediterranean” are Gibraltar’s award-winning marinas; Ocean Village and neighbouring Marina Bay. They offer a sheltered and ideally located base for yachts and motor boats with friendly help and professional advice available 24/7 from the centrally located Pier Office. The town centre, Gibraltar International Airport and the Spanish border are all within easy reach once you’re onshore.

Vessels from around the globe are based at the marinas and many choose to register in Gibraltar to take advantage of the Cat 1 Red Ensign status and the advantageous tax conditions – especially the VAT-free fuel.

Reacting to growing demand from superyachts, Ocean Village Marina has grown to over 300 berths accommodating yachts from 5 metres up to 90 metres (with a maximum draft of 4.5 metres). Each berth provides easy access to fresh water and electricity. Shower and toilet facilities, including for disabled users, are nearby at the Pier Office building.  The luxurious Premier Berths offer 24 hour security, satellite TV, wifi broadband, 24-hour Assist and a Marina Premier Card, giving concessions in the various quayside shops, restaurants, bars and the Health Club.  The result is that many of the “Top 100” mega yachts are increasingly attracted as they stop to stock up on quality British provisions and fill up on VAT-free fuel, which can be up to 40% cheaper than other marinas in the Mediterranean.

Nearby you’ll find a selection of international restaurants and bars, a well-stocked chandlery, duty free goods, a mini-market, a health and dental clinic, a gymnasium plus offshore banking facilities – everything you need for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

But Ocean Village is more than just a marina – it was created as a yacht home port with its own vibrant marina village and resort. Home to Gibraltar’s only Casino both marinas are transformed at night by the stunning colour-change mood lighting to create a wonderful evening ambience with the magnificent backdrop of The Rock to complete the picture.

Queensway Quay Marina

Queensway Quay Marina, formerly part of Taylor Woodrow’s waterside development, became privately owned in 2001.  It has as impressive backdrop of residential complexes and a choice of stylish restaurants and bars.  The Marina is just a short walk from shops in the town centre.
